Celebrating the achievements of alumni in Qatar

When outstanding individuals receive a world-class education in the UK, the effects can last a lifetime. The Alumni Awards shine a light on the impact that alumni of UK higher education institutions are making in their chosen field, and how this was sparked by their studies in the UK.

The finalists will be recognised for their distinguished, exemplary leadership and achievements in their professional industry, for their active role in initiating or contributing to innovative or creative new ideas, solutions, or business opportunities, and have made exceptional contribution and commitment to creating positive social change and improving the lives of others.

The winners of the 2020-21 awards will be announced during an exclusive and closed ceremony on Tuesday, 02 February 2021. The ceremony will be recorded and shared with wider audiences virtually post-ceremony date.

If you are UK alumni currently living in Qatar, become a member of the Qatar-UK Alumni Network for free to receive an exclusive invitation to attend the Awarding Ceremony and other opportunities. Find out more information about the benefits of becoming a member here.

This year the People's Choice Award is back after it's successful run in the 2019-20 Study UK Alumni Awards. Follow the British Council social media channels to be updated on the selected finalists for the Study UK Alumni Awards 2020-21 and to vote for your most inspiring story.
