Qatar UK Alumni 2013

Long-lasting connections and development opportunities

Our programmes for UK alumni help build long-lasting connections so people are able to build on their international experience. When you sign up to our Gulf-UK Alumni Network you will join a distinguished group of UK alumni from across the region including senior figures in government, business and civil society. As well as the opportunity to attend prestigious gala dinners and awards ceremonies you can also take advantage of professional development courses, leadership training and many other events. Our Gulf–UK Alumni LinkedIn group encourages the exchange of ideas and will allow you to make new connections and keep in touch with your peers.

All events and activities are free of charge for UK alumni.

Our alumni also help shape the future by inspiring the next generation. Alumni are invited to share their stories and experiences with students at study fairs and other education events organised by the British Council and partners. Read some of their stories at #MyUniqueFuture and be inspired. https://www.britishcouncil.sa/en/study-uk/myfutureisunique

More than 1,100 UK alumni are now connected across Qatar, sharing their experiences and expanding their professional expertise.

If you want to connect with peers across the Gulf region, you can join the British Council’s Gulf-UK alumni LinkedIn group.

"I get to meet so many amazing people, which is a great way to break the gap between different nationalities where we share the similarity of studying in the UK".
