GIS was established in 2015; since then, we have changed and grown significantly in the West bay lagoon behind the MOE&HE new building. From very small beginnings almost eight years ago, GIS has grown into one of the most well-known and most prestigious schools in Qatar, with around 300 students on role.

In 2019, the school received an excellent grade from the Qatar National Schools Accreditation programme, when inspected by the country’s Ministry of Education and Higher Education.
