The British Council's IELTS Loyalty Scheme is a membership scheme for organisations that register and prepare candidates for IELTS. It will help you to help your students and customers and increase your profile in the market. 

The British Council is the first choice of many test takers for preparation, courses, resources and testing. More than 9,000 organisations worldwide accept IELTS, the world’s leading English proficiency test.

Silver or Gold or Platinum . . . Your level of membership

There are three levels of membership (depending on the number of candidates you register with us) and membership status will be reviewed every year. The benefits accumulate as you move up the levels.

The membership thresholds are:

  1. Silver: associates providing 10-60 candidates per year
  2. Gold: associates providing 61-200 candidates per year
  3. Platinum: associates providing 201+ or more candidates per year.

Important Notes to Know

  • A year is measured from April to March
  • Candidates gain access to Road to IELTS only once they have completed registration procedures
  • You can reserve seats up until six weeks before a test date
  •  We will distribute promotional materials as far as possible based on your requirements, but also on stock availability
  •  You will be able to use the strapline once the contract is signed and the membership status is confirmed;
