Featured in Harper’s Bazaar and Grazia, she advocates for Middle Eastern women and explores themes like the female gaze. Her work, including Hope For Gaza, uses music to inspire healing.

Dr Fodil Fadil

Dr. Fodil Fadli is an architect, educator, and Associate Professor at Qatar University. Formerly a department head, he merges academic and industry expertise. His work centers on sustainable, resilient design and emerging technologies like Generative AI and machine learning, integrating diverse fields through digital innovation.

Dr Mary Joy Picozzi

Dr Pigozzi is the Executive Director of Educate A Child (EAC), since 2012. Before joining EAC, she served as senior vice president at FHI 360. She also directed the Academy for Educational Development’s Global Learning Group after leading UNESCO’s Division for the Promotion of Quality Education. She developed both the UN system-wide Girls’ Education Initiative and UNICEF’s global Girls’ Education Programme.

Dr Waseem Kotoub

Country Director and Gulf Cluster Business Development Lead, British Council Qatar

Dr Waseem Kotoub is a medical doctor, concert pianist, composer, and cultural leader whose career bridges healthcare, the arts, and international relations. Trained at the Royal Academy of Music in London, he pioneered music therapy in the Middle East, founding the region's first music therapy centre in 2007. As Country Director of the British Council in Qatar, he leads cultural exchange between the UK and the Middle East, aligning with Qatar's 2030 National Vision.

 

Dr. Abdulla Al-Kamali

Dr. Abdulla Al-Kamali, QRDI Program Manager and a holder of PhD degree in 2007 from University of Arkansas USA- Curriculum and Instruction and the winner of the Platinum Education Excellence Prize from HRH Shk Tamim ben Hamad Al-Thani in 2007 for the PhD class. And the Chairman of the Education Excellence Committee in category of Scientific Research.

Dr. Milan Maric

Over the past two decades, Dr Milan has lived in three different continents and worked for various television stations, universities, government agencies, private companies, and independent film productions. He holds a BA degree in film and TV production, an MFA degree in cinematography & documentary directing and PhD in media studies. Since 2023, Dr Milan joined the University of Doha for Science and Technology as the department head of the Digital Communication and Media Production program.

Dr. Zarqa Parvez

Dr. Zarqa Parvez is an academic, political sociologist and social scientist whose research interrogates the intersections of statecraft, national identity, and women in the Arab Gulf region. As a scholar of international governance, her work synthesizes critical approaches to international politics and Gulf studies, with particular emphasis on examining state-society dynamics through multiple lens focusing on women's agency, youth engagement, and identity politics.
